Therepy Session

Doc : Good morning, what seems to be the problem?
Mother : My kids. See, last night I repeatedly told them that Thursday was pre-school day, I even told them that this morning. I also told them that I wanted to leave early so that I could some grocery shopping in before the hired help arrived.
Doc : Hired help?
Mother : The husband doesn't want me to do the housework and, well, I am not that capable or so I have been told.
Doc : !?
Mother : So, this morning I get up extra early, wake up all the kids extra early, including the baby, and promise them a drive-thru breakfast, just to make things quicker. It didn't make things quicker, we didn't leave till 10 minutes after I wanted to, there was a delay in the drive-thru and then when we get to pre-school, the eldest of the two just wouldn't get out of the car. I resorted to bribery, that worked for getting her inside but not for her staying there.
Doc : Are they at pre-school now?
Mother : Yes, but it was difficult. She cried, so did the other. The other turned happy though as long as the older stayed with her. She even sat down and finished her breakfast. She was really well behaved compared to normal. The older one through sulks, tears and clung. She has always done this but normally it is easy to leave. Today she wouldn't even respond to anything and eventually a teacher had to stay with her. She knew I had to do other things, I was in a rush. She also knows that we won't be going candle shopping tonight now.
Doc : Did you get to go shopping?
Mother : Do you think I did? Why am I sitting here if things got out of hand and I didn't do what I wanted to do?
Doc : I don't know, why don't you tell me?
Mother : *you can smell the smoke* No, I did not. I do not know when I will get the chance now since my day is so busy. Tomorrow is out, we have an excursion, Saturday is out as it Sunday. I will just have to go and rush this afternoon. I really didn't want to have to do that.
Doc : Well that concludes our session today. That will be $XX.
Mother : *whacks doc over the head for charging so much and not doing a single thing.*
